Group assignment

My group decided to create a group chat on Facebook, because it seemed to be the easiest way to communicate, since every person in the group has a Facebook account. We probably did not communicate as much as we should have. We all had different timetables, so it was not that easy to have a real discussion about the topic.Whenever one person had time, the other one did not. But that's okay we were still able to communicate, we just didn't had real discussions. And one of the people in my group was not present during our presentation or the conversations we had in our group chat, and I'm not sure why. Again communication was definitely not the best in our group, but that's okay, we were all busy with other assignments we had to do, and some people have a job, that's totally understandable, I'm just saying that's probably something we would have to change if we were to work as a group again. We decided to split the questions among our group, so that everyone only had to focus on one question, but in the end there was only Jamie and I. So each of us took two of the questions, which was fine too. We decided to do a small PDF presentation, and post the link into the chat in SL, so people just had to click on the link to see the slides on google drive. We kept the presentation simple, and only included pictures that were relevant to the subjects we were talking about. The presentation was alright, I was just surprised that, although I was only talking in front of my screen, I still felt nervous about talking in front of the class.
I learned from this experience that it is hard to work as a group , if the only way of communication is using social media. I think I have to see people's face and talk to them in real life in order to properly communicate with them. Maybe that's just me, but I'm not very good at keeping in touch with people if it's only over chat messages. I also felt like it was easier to forget that we had to work on this group assignment, since it's easy to forget about checking your messages. It's almost as if this group never existed, because we never met in real life.
